Alternative arrangements
Where students have an impairment, injury or disability; or are pregnant or breastfeeding, the University may be able to organise alternative examination arrangements. All applications must be supported by formal evidence from a registered health professional and approval is not guaranteed.
The deadline for applications made on the basis of pre-existing conditions are:
- Semester One: 4 May 2022
- Semester Two: 14 September 2022
- Summer School: 11 January 2023
Note: Pre-existing conditions include those related to late pregnancy and breastfeeding.

- Examination arrangements for International Students with impairments, injury or disability
- Alternative arrangements for mid-semester tests
It may not be possible to provide alternative examination arrangements for examinations sat at distance venues within New Zealand and overseas.
