Massey COVID-19 information
12 March: All of New Zealand is now at COVID-19 Alert Level 1.
Please check your timetable through the Student Portal next week to see where your classes will be as we transition some courses into new rooms. The Library and other campus facilities such as the Rec Centre will be open this weekend without physical distancing requirements.
If you are feeling unwell
Please do not attend classes if you are feeling unwell. Stay home, self-isolate and contact Healthline (0800 358 5453) if you are experiencing any respiratory illness (coughs, sore throat, runny nose), loss of smell and/or taste, or any flu-like symptoms such as malaise, fatigue, and/or aches in the body. As new variations of COVID-19 appear, some have a slightly different set of symptoms and so any illness should be a reason to stay home and seek advice.
If you are self-isolating and need support to access your course work, please reach out to your course coordinator. If you require wellbeing support, please contact us. Halls students should notify duty staff if they are self-isolating. If you are identified as a close contact, or a probable or confirmed case please notify the University by emailing the health and safety team at HandS@massey.ac.nz.
